PharmaTox, Inc. was founded by Isabella Rogers in 1990 and was originally designed as a company focused on mandated drug testing and federal compliance issues surrounding new drug testing laws and requirements on both the State and Federal level.
In 1996 Dr. Michael Meredith joined Ms. Rogers as the minority partner of PharmaTox, Inc., and began to develop the clinical treatment arm of the corporation. PharmaTox opened residential treatment programs for both males and females; transitional living facilities, outpatient drug and alcohol counseling and methadone clinics. As the methadone clinics were being developed, it was decided that PharmaTox would close the residential and transitional living programs and concentrate on methadone and outpatient counseling. In 2006 PharmaTox sold its 3 methadone clinics to a company out of Chicago, Illinois.
The PharmaTox philosophy is founded on the belief that all human beings are equal and have tremendous value regardless of their existing physical, intellectual, emotional and social condition.
